LED Light Source SL 3500

LED Light Sources are arrays of high-performance light emitting diodes (LEDs) that can operate in multiple regimes: flash, continuous light, harmonically modulated light, or they can work with a user-defined modulation. Different versions of the device vary in the panel size (= illuminated area) and in light color (from UVA to IR). The device can be used as a stand-alone unit or it can be integrated into other PSI instruments, such as the FluorCam, Photobioreactor, or the Double-Modulation Fluorometer.

Instrument Highlights:

• High light output - up to 3,000 µmol(photon)/m².s at the distance of 20 cm.
• Measuring flash duration 10-40 µs.
• Uniform light distribution over the desired area.
• Hardware or software control of the light regime (flashes, continuous light, used-defined modulation), timing, and intensity.
• Different color versions varying spectrally from UVA to Infra-Red.
• Bi-color, tri-color versions available.
• Automatic cooling of the panel and control unit.
