Handy FluorCam

Handy FluorCam FC 1000-H is a lighweight, portable system for imaging of chlorophyll fluorescence kinetics in leaves or small plants in a laboratory or field. It can be powered from the power supply or it can run on batteries provided in a convenient bag carried on the shoulder.

Handy FluorCam is a compact instrument consisting of a CCD camera and four fixed LED panels, one pair supplying the measuring pulses and the second pair providing actinic illumination and saturating flash. Optionally, the system can be equipped with four additional infrared LEDs. The LED panels provide uniform irradiance over an area of 3.5 x 3.5 cm – suitable for imaging of small plants, whole leaves or leaf segments of native or detached leaves, mosses, lichens, plated algal colonies, etc. Handling of larger leaves (e.g. tobacco) is simplified if an additional leaf-clip with gentle lock/release mechanism is mounted.

The price includes a laptop computer preinstaled with comprehensive software package for full system control, data acquisition and image processing.
